What is holding you back? August 31, 2015
What is it that is holding you back? What is standing between you and your goal? What is standing between you and the life you always wanted to have? Maybe it is someone around you, telling you that it’s impossible. Or maybe it is the little voice in your head telling you, you cannot possibly accomplish it, that you are unworthy.
Try to figure out what it is or who it is that is holding you back. Maybe it is not that concrete. Maybe the preconceived notions that you hold about what it is that you cannot do or the belief that you are not good enough or not worthy, are more hidden. But whatever they are or however they show themselves, fight them.
And I am going to be clear about this: They will probably not vanish over night, or you might have to fight them even every day for a long time. But the first thing you need to do is acknowledge their presence, if they are there.
And put up a fight! Know your worth and get away from the idea that you need to be different or that you are not the way you should be, or not the way you should look like (not brilliant, strong, smart, pretty enough etc.). See that there is not any valid reason why you should not be able to achieve your dreams. You are enough.
Make peace with yourself and love yourself. Your flaws and weaknesses do not define you, but they are part of you. So embrace them. See the goodness in yourself and believe in your own potential. You can achieve nearly anything you can possibly imagine.
You are scared? Try what you want to do anyway. You still do not think it is possible? Prove everyone including yourself wrong. What is holding you back? You can accomplish nearly anything you really want to do. You just need perseverance and patience, and most of all you need to work very hard. And the biggest obstacle you have to work on is your own mindset and attitude. You will find your own strength. You just need to start believing in yourself!
