Enjoy the moment September 3, 2015

It is time to take a break and focus. Really focus on the here and now. Take a deep breath and let go of the past or even of what happened just an hour ago. Do not think about the future, either. Stop worrying. Just become aware of this present moment and enjoy it. Appreciate every moment of your day and savor even the small things.

The more you focus on the present, the less stressed out you will feel. Do what you can do now. Really focus on the things you are doing and enjoy them. Avoid distractions and pay attention to the things right in front of you. Most people are trapped in a productivity cycle of moving from one task directly on to the next one and multitasking like there is no tomorrow. But if you focus on the here and now you give the people around you the attention they deserve and really concentrate on the things you want to accomplish, one task at a time.

Choose monotasking whenever possible and avoid distractions. Chances are you will increase your productivity and get more out of your days because you pay more attention to them. Do not forget to take breaks, because you need them to be productive. There is the old saying: “Do not forget to stop and smell the roses.” And there is some truth to it. Only when we make time to appreciate the small, happy moments along our way, we will be happy and content with our lives in general. Do not postpone your happiness or the things you want to do.

Enjoy the moment! Make time for the things that matter to you the most and become aware of the things distracting you along the way. Avoid procrastination and be more considerate with how you spend your time. By living in the moment you can increase your happiness. Start living your life now and appreciate the little things. It will make you a happier person.
